Learn Jewellery Making
Make Silver Jewellery.
Jewellery making workshops are the perfect way to make your own bespoke piece of sterling silver jewellery to keep forever. Spend the day with friends, family or turn up and make some friends on the day.
I guarantee that you will have fun in a relaxed environment and leave with some beautiful jewellery and you might have to eat some cake with your tea too.
Our Silver Clay design workshops are a fun and relaxing session for anyone who loves jewellery. Workshops are open to all skill levels (we recommend that students taking our Advanced Workshops have taken three or four of our general workshops first.)
Workshops.
Full day workshops start at 10.30, and end at approx 4.30pm with working refreshment breaks and a pause for lunch which is provided. Please let us know of any dietary requirements.
Half day workshops start at 10:30am , and end at 1.30pm or 2.00pm ending at 5.00pm with working refreshment breaks.
Led by Sue Studd the workshop will guide participants through the jewellery making process from design to creation, with demonstrations and advice offered throughout the day. Techniques covered on most workshops will include texturing, cutting and polishing.
All the tools and equipment you need are provided. Extra materials will be available to purchase on the day if required.
At the end of the day, you take home a unique piece of jewellery you have created!
Hen Parties.
If you are arranging a hen party, I can offer one that you will have the perfect keepsake made with your own fair hands! And have fun at the same time. Come and make a very special silver clay charm for the bride and a beautiful memento for yourself!
Make the bride charms to go onto a silver chain to make a special bracelet and make a replica of that charm for you to wear as a necklace.

Sue C, Ipswich
“I am so glad to say that I have had a couple of silver clay sessions with Sue now. On both occasions I came away with some beautiful silver jewellery and a great deal more knowledge. I was welcomed by both Sue & John, and their 2 adorable dogs Chas & Dave. Sue made me feel completely at ease throughout the day and also provided a delicious lunch which was served in situ by John. A lovely homely atmosphere & I was never afraid to ask questions or do things wrong as there always seemed to be a solution, or in my case as was on one occasion, start again !!!! Which turned out perfectly. I would genuinely recommend Sue for a workshop with silver clay. I am so proud to wear my own, 100% crafted jewellery. Can’t wait to have another session..”
